At Valor & Vine, we stand behind the quality, construction, and craftsmanship of every product we produce. This Warranty Policy outlines the scope of our coverage, what is included, and how claims are handled.

1. Warranty Coverage

All Valor & Vine products are covered by a 12-month limited warranty beginning on the date of delivery.

This warranty applies to verified manufacturing defects that affect the function or structural integrity of the product under normal, intended use.

Covered issues may include:

• Hardware failure (snaps, buckles, rivets, Chicago screws)

• Faults in strap assembly or fastening points

• Defects in Biothane® material impacting performance

• Workmanship errors that compromise product function
   

2. What Is Not Covered

This warranty does not cover damage or deterioration resulting from regular use, environmental exposure, or misuse.

Exclusions include:

• Normal wear and tear

• Cosmetic scratching or scuffing

• Chewing, bite damage, or claw marks

• Improper sizing or fit-related stress

• Tarnishing or patina on brass hardware

• Wear of plated finishes

• Discoloration transfer from hardware

• Damage caused by accidents or negligence

• Alterations or repairs made by third parties

Animal-related damage is considered use-related and falls outside warranty coverage.

3. Hardware & Material Aging

Certain material changes are natural over time and are not considered defects, including:

• Brass oxidation or tarnish

• Chrome plating wear

• Surface marking on Biothane®

• Flex softening from use

These are cosmetic aging characteristics and do not impact product safety or performance.

4. Submitting a Warranty Claim

To initiate a claim, customers must contact us within the 12-month warranty period and provide:

• Proof of purchase

• Clear photos of the issue

• Description of product use

• Approximate timeline of when the issue began

This information allows us to assess whether the issue qualifies under warranty.

5. Claim Review & Resolution

If a claim is approved, Valor & Vine will determine the most appropriate resolution, which may include:

• Repair of the original item

• Replacement of the defective product

• Store credit

• Partial or full refund (case dependent)

Resolutions are issued at our discretion based on product condition and defect severity.

6. Shipping Responsibility

Customers may be responsible for shipping costs associated with warranty claims unless the defect is determined to be significant or occurred upon arrival.

Return authorization is required before sending any items back.

7. Limitations

This warranty:

• Applies only to the original purchaser

• Is non-transferable

• Covers manufacturing defects only

• Does not extend beyond 12 months

Valor & Vine reserves the right to deny claims that fall outside these parameters.
